As I get older - and therefore, of course, wiser - I find myself showing more and more signs of this wisdom. For example, I recently left the dome light in my car on, and then decided not to use my car (nor notice my dome light on) for about a week. For some strange reason (I know!), this caused the battery power to go to zero, and so I ended up - again - at South Street Auto, where for a short while, my wisdom was replaced by ... let's go with humility. Not to worry, though, in their usual professional and upbeat manner, the folks at South Street Auto, particularly Carly, John, and Trevor, sorted me out. It's easy for professionals to be skilled, personable, & reasonably priced some of the time, but much more difficult to be so all of the time. I don't know how the folks at South Street Auto manage to do this, but I'm determined to keep going back until I find out.

The team handled my oil change and general inspection with great care.

Took the car quickly for my oil change and I was back on the road in an hour. Saved a couple bucks with a coupon too!

The team of professionals here are the friendliest and most helpful group working in car service that I have ever met! Even when I am nearly hysterical over the engine light coming on, the temperature gauge on volcanic, and the warning telling me to stop the car immediately is flashing, they somehow manage to calm me down and take care of matters with smiling faces. I think they all Minored in psychology! The mechanics are terrific and get me back on the road quickly and if not, a loaner is provided. SSAC is the best in my book!

I’ve brought my Mercury in here a few times and these guys do great work! This time, Brian helped me get my lift gate fixed and he provided great service, and a quick and a easy experience. They gave me a loaner car while they were working on my car and everything. Highly recommend!

I can't stress enough the importance of the honesty and integrity you can expect from South Street Auto Care. Time and time again, when another mechanic would have charged for unnecessary repairs, these guys give you the real diagnosis and charge appropriately. A rarity and a breath of fresh air.

Drake was helpful by providing a detail estimate for repairs on my Highlander Hybrid. It sure helps to understand the time & materials for this major repair. And the 36 month warranty for the work is helpful.

Overwhelming service. This is the best service center I have visited in the state of Michigan. Karly, Trevor, John you guys are the best. Not only fixed my a/c problems, but also taken care of my car's bumper though you are not a body shop, really appreciate. Car looks beautiful now. I highly recommend this place.
